Mahoe Med is both a family GP Practice
and an A&E Centre
Location and Facilities
Mahoe Med is located just outside the central business district of Te Awamutu, and forms part of the Te Awamutu Mega Centre shopping complex which provides ample parking.
Mahoe Med is equipped with
10 consulting rooms.
5 nurse treatment rooms,
a theatre and
fully equipped resuscitation room.
The latter makes it possible to treat patients with emergencies, including those brought in by ambulance. A further nurse consultation room allows a friendly environment for consultations on diabetics, cardiovascular risk and many more.
The practice is fully wheelchair accessible and has a large waiting area which can accommodate 30 to 50 patients. The waiting room also has a picket-fenced children’s corner which allows them to be safe and give parents peace of mind.
