Mahoe X-ray opened in Aug 2012 as a general x-ray service operating within the Mahoe Med Centre.  We have a new GE Proteus Digital x-ray machine and are affiliated with Horizon Radiology.

WEEK DAYS

Hours 9am – 5pm

During the week we provide a range of examinations that include; ACC x-rays, NZ Immigration Chest X-rays, and a variety of private/ACC patients.

These x-rays come to us from:

• Doctors

• Physiotherapists

• Chiropractors

• Osteopaths

• Podiatrists

• Orthopaedics referrals

Most Fridays we hold a fracture clinic with a Orthopaedics consultant on hand.

WEEKENDS & PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

On-call Radiographer hours - 10am to 3pm

At the weekends the Radiographers are on-call for the medical centre to assist with injuries.  We regularly x-ray fractures, dislocated shoulder/elbows and fingers, and chest x-rays.

This service has been greatly appreciated by our patients, and we have the ability to electronically send our x-rays to Waikato Hospital if need be

OUR STAFF

Our experienced Radiographers have worked in general x-rays, Computed Tomography, Emergency and Trauma x-rays, Mammography and paediatric radiography, all over the world.

Our staff have advanced skills training and have attended paediatric conferences and, and their combined wealth of knowledge ensures that when you come for an x-ray with Mahoe X-ray you are getting the very best care and expertise available.  We have a good working relationship with the other medical centres.
